REC: increased compensation for the delivery of industrial products for Russian exporters

RIA News. The Russian government has increased the amount of compensation for the cost of transporting industrial products for exporters, the corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin, according to the Russian Export Center (part of the VEB.RF Group).

"Russian exporters of industrial products will be able to compensate up to 500 million rubles of logistics costs. The corresponding decree was signed by Russian Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin. Previously, the maximum amount was 300 million rubles," the report says.

In addition, companies that export timber industry products from the ports of the Northwestern Federal District will be able to reimburse 100% of logistics costs for the period of supplies from April 1 to June 30, 2023, and not 80%, as it was before.

"Optimizing the cost of transporting products is one of the key issues faced by most companies conquering foreign markets, including exporters of industrial products. State support for the transportation of industrial products has become one of the most sought-after support measures for which exporters come to the REC, and increasing the maximum amount of compensation for such expenses is, first of all, the request of the business itself. This measure allows organizations to free up funds for business growth and increase exports with the support of the REC," said Alexei Solodov, vice president of the organization.
