"The export of agricultural products from Kuzbass has grown by 30% over five years, to $345.3 million in 2022," the report says.

In 2022, the region supplied 191 thousand tons of food products to the foreign market, the press service added.

"The export direction is very important for the development of the agricultural industry and the economy of the region as a whole. We comprehensively support those enterprises that solve the problem of entering foreign markets, position Kuzbass as a region with a diverse export potential, and not just as a leader in coal mining in the country," emphasizes the governor of the region Sergei Tsivilev, he is quoted by the press service.

The report notes the role of the Kuzbass Export Support Center, whose services were used by 47 agro-industrial companies in 2022 and the first quarter of 2023. During this period, the region sent food to more than 40 countries around the world. Kuzbass exports pine nuts and other wild plants, pasta, canned vegetables, animal feed, oil and fat products, sunflower seeds, meat and dairy products, one of the most promising areas is the export of rapeseed oil, which is in demand in China, the report says.

“Now Kuzbass occupies one of the leading positions in the export of food products in the country. We quickly managed to reorient logistics from western markets to the east. export of flour confectionery.
